This was a nice little challenge.
The task was to create a custom canopy for a fully-lockable mesh cage on the back of a ute.
And.
The gate needed to be capable of opening with the cover still attached.
Challenge accepted
We created a custom made canvas cover for the cage that included:
- zips at each side of the gate to allow it open out and up
- mesh vents on front to pressurise the canopy for outback driving and dusty roads
- tailored, bound cut outs around the locks
- elastic loops for secure fastening to the vehicle
Can’t wait to see this one out in the wild.
