We enjoyed working on this retro awning.

As the van was a Franklin Arrow from the 1970s, it was appropriate to create an awning that matched the era.  This meant shaping the roof and creating scalloped edging.  The awning itself looked so good that we added a set of matching window awnings.

Just to add more of a challenge, the rear awning wall was designed in such a way that it can be zipped off and used as a front wall, or even as a half side wall.

The photos don’t do justice to this litte beauty.  With no grass in the factory to secure pegs we have to make do with ropes to fasten the poles.  We can’t wait  to see it out in the wild.
